The registration period for the first unit of the State Institute of Professional Education, Technology and Innovation (IERN) will open this Monday (29). In total, there are 160 vacancies divided between technical courses in Chemistry and Computer Networks.
IERN Natal is located on Avenida Capitão-Mor Gouveia, in the Bom Pastor neighborhood. Enrollment is done through SigEduc.
According to the State Secretariat for Education, Culture, Sport and Leisure, IERN Natal will make 112 places available for students who are enrolled in the state network and who wish to transfer from other state schools.
The other 48 places will be allocated to new students who have completed primary education or who come from another education network, whether public or private.
According to SEEC, the selection of candidates will follow the same SIGEduc criteria already applied in the state network. The distribution of places aims to maintain a balance between students who are already part of the state education system and those looking for a new opportunity to enter.
Registration for the transfer of students from the state network will take place between April 29th and May 3rd this year. The registration period for new students will take place from May 6th to 10th.
After these phases, the final result will be published on May 13th and the student will be able to enroll until May 16th at the IERN Natal headquarters.
May 17th was chosen as the official date for the start of school activities at IERN.
