A violent collision between a car and a trailer was recorded on the SC-135 highway, on the way up to the São Marcos neighborhood, close to the barracks in the municipality of Tangará, in the west of Santa Catarina. According to information from the Fire Department, the incident happened around 10am, this Thursday (28).
According to firefighters, the accident was between a Peugeot car and a Volvo/FH540 trailer. After the collision, the car left the road.
“Upon arriving at the scene, a side collision was observed between a vehicle and a trailer, followed by the vehicle leaving the road. The black Peugeot, registered in Videira, was leaning over the side of the road. The 48-year-old driver was conscious, leaning over the front seats. After stabilization and removal according to standard protocol, the driver was taken to the hospital with no apparent injuries. The driver of the Volvo FH540, with Lages license plate, did not suffer any damage and refused assistance. After the care procedures, the place was under the care of the Military Police”, detailed the Fire Department.
