The Civil Police of the State of Ceará (PCCE) launched, this Tuesday (26), an operation aimed at dismantling a criminal group operating in the municipality of Trairi – Integrated Security Area 23 (AIS 23) of the Metropolitan Region from Fortaleza. During the offensive, four suspects were arrested in the act for crimes of trafficking and association for drug trafficking, illegal possession of a firearm, domestic violence and for being part of a criminal group.
After deepening the investigations coordinated by the Trairi Metropolitan Police Station, the civil police officers identified that the targets belonged to a criminal group operating in the region. During the investigations, the teams caught the first three captured in the district of Mundaú, in Trairi, in possession of drugs, ammunition and precision scales. According to police investigations, the targets, aged 25, 27 and 35, have criminal records for various crimes.
During the investigation, investigators arrested a 32-year-old man for domestic violence. According to police information, the suspect, who had attacked his partner, a 22-year-old woman. The suspect is also being investigated for being part of a criminal group. He was located and arrested in the town of Zé Aires, in the rural area of Trairi.
Given the facts, the four men were taken to the Trairi Metropolitan Police Station, where the first three targets were charged with drug trafficking and association with drug trafficking, illegal possession of a firearm and for belonging to a criminal group. The other suspect was charged with domestic violence. Now, the men are at the disposal of Justice. PCCE continues with investigations to try to locate and arrest other individuals involved in crimes in the region.
