Planning to hit the road to enjoy the Easter holiday? It’s good to be aware, this Thursday (28) several sections of BR-163, in Mato Grosso do Sul, will be partially closed for lane maintenance work. All locations are signposted with traffic diversion.
During the closures, CCR MSVia, the concessionaire responsible for the stretches, carries out the stop and go operation, when one of the lanes is closed while the flow of vehicles follows the other, alternately, in the North and South directions of the road, and also traffic diversions .
The SAU (User Service) advises drivers to respect the signs and pay attention to closed points, reducing speed. In case of rain, works will be suspended.
Sections with traffic diversion:
- Sound – between km 824 and 823;
- São Gabriel do Oeste – between km 631 and 630;
- Jaraguari – at km 530;
- Large field – at km 452;
- Sidrolândia – at km 411;
- Nova Alvorada do Sul – at km 400;
- Brilliant River – between km 347 and 346;
- Golden – at km 277, between km 265 and 260, at km 255 and between km 253 and 252;
- Caarapó – at km 234, between km 231 and 228 and between km 198 and 195;
- Naviraí – at km 127;
- Itaquirai – between km 105 and 103;
- New world – at km 6.
The works schedule is dynamic, that is, other intervention points with stop and go or traffic diversion may occur throughout the day.
