One is the aging of the Brazilian population. As the population has more people of a certain age, the fertility rate decreases, as there are fewer people of childbearing age. And there is a behavioral change, as a result of increased education and the presence of women in the job market, which is a positive fact. As the population becomes more educated, they have a better chance of a professional life and, as a result, people tend to postpone the date of having children.
