Sicredi Ouro Branco will expand operations in MG

In a meeting on Tuesday night, the 26th, the coordinators of the Sicredi Ouro Branco RS/MG Center approved the expansion of the cooperative’s area of ​​activity in Minas Gerais. Currently, the institution covers 19 municipalities in Minas Gerais, with five branches in three cities. The event took place at the Languiru Pro-development Association (APDL), for the first time with the participation of delegates from the Southeast state.

The approved change in the statute allows the addition of another 37 municipalities in Minas Gerais, which have a population of 384 thousand inhabitants. As a result, Sicredi Ouro Branco’s operating area will total 77 municipalities between RS and MG, with a total population of 1.3 million inhabitants. The projection is to reach 150 thousand members in both states by 2028.

President of the Cooperative, Neori Ernani Abel states that the expansion of the area of ​​activity in the state of MG brings the Cooperative another great opportunity to grow its membership. “It provides an opportunity for even greater diversification in the cooperative’s operations and brings Sicredi’s credit cooperative activities to more people.”

Pro_Move seeks European partnership for internationalization

Pro_Move Lajeado received a visit from professors from Northern Europe, in an approach that aims to build the foundations for the internationalization of the ecosystem. Eivind Fauskanger, from Norway, and Inessa Laur, from Sweden, were also in Lajeado to develop academic partnerships with Univates.

In the view of professors Eivind and Inessa, Norway and Sweden face similar challenges to Brazil in the maturation of Local Innovation Ecosystems. Faced with this reality, the meeting participants expressed the possibility of international partnership to build direct alternatives for the growth and maturation of the three ecosystems.

With a total of R$76.7 billion, the study considers the amounts actually paid by companies in the first three months of the year, regardless of when the distribution was announced.
