The Department of Labor and Income is publishing, this week, 3,359 job opportunities in the State of Rio de Janeiro. There are 1,156 formal job vacancies and 2,203 for internships and young apprentices, with different levels of education.

All positions are available through the National Employment System (Sine) posts, while internships and young apprentice opportunities are the result of a partnership with Fundação Mudes and Centro de Integração Empresa Escola (CIEE).

The 1,156 vacancies offered through Sine are distributed across the Metropolitan, Médio Paraíba and Serrana regions. The Metropolitan region has the largest number of opportunities: there are 943 vacancies for different levels of education. Among them, there are 400 positions aimed at people with disabilities (PwD), many without the need for experience.

Highlights include the roles of kitchen assistant (50 vacancies) and sales operator (100), in Copacabana and Centro, respectively. Remuneration can reach two minimum wages (R$2,824).

The same region offers vacancies with no experience required, such as assistant assembler of aluminum frames, dishwasher and salesperson. Also without the need for experience, but with complete secondary education required, there are two opportunities for accounting coordinator, in Barra da Tijuca, with salaries that can reach R$7 thousand.

In the Médio Paraíba region, 80 vacancies were captured, with salaries of up to R$2,824 for cafeteria attendant, in Volta Redonda, cleaning assistant, in Valença, bus driver, in Vassouras, and bricklayer, in Itatiaia. An opportunity was also made available for a supermarket manager, in the city of Barra do Piraí, whose remuneration is R$4,236, with previous experience required.

In the Mountain Region, almost all of the 133 opportunities offered are for Teresópolis, with an average salary of one minimum wage. For those with no experience and no education, there are vacancies for electrician assistants, hand packers, waiters and truck drivers, among others.

According to an analysis by the Labor Observatory of the state Department of Labor and Income, the vacancies offered this week are, for the most part, in the Services sector (56.3%), followed by the Commerce sector, with 43.7% of the vacancies. 1,156 opportunities. As for education, 45% of opportunities require completing high school. In relation to the salaries offered, 57.4% of vacancies reach two minimum wages and 30.3% offer one minimum wage. The majority of opportunities (62.4%) require experience.
