With 2nd biggest prize for the State, Pernambuco reaches 25 winning Mega-Sena bets

With the bet winning the main prize of the contest 2,705drawn on Tuesday night (26), Pernambuco arrived at 25 main prizes in the history of Mega-Sena. The last lucky one was awarded in contest 2,578almost a year ago, on March 29, 2023.

According to Caixa Econômica, Tuesday’s winner will pocket a prize of R$ 118,265,926.76. The dozens drawn were 02 – 16 – 22 – 27 – 35 – 47.

The bet was placed on Eldorado Lotterylocated in the neighborhood of Thanks, North Zone of Recife. To win the maximum prize, the player made a simple ticket, which costs R$5.

The prize of more than R$ 118.2 million, inclusive, is the second largest nominal prize ever awarded to Pernambuco. The previous record belonged to R$289 million of a bet made online, in May 2019. According to Caixa, the winning bet in the contest was made in Recife.

The last winning bet, from March 2023, recorded the numbers 37 – 39 – 37 – 47 – 59 – 60. Unlike this year’s bet, which she won alone, last year’s bet shared the millionaire prize with a bettor from Betim/MG. Each took the prize for R$ 37,457,585.34.

The first winner of Mega-Sena in Pernambuco won the award for R$ 1,044,444.54on May 1, 1999, in competition 165.

On December 31, 2018, the only prize of Mega da Virada to Pernambuco: R$ 5,818,007.36 for a bet placed on Itaenga Lagoonin the North Forest Zone of Pernambuco.
