A woman was violently beaten during an attempted robbery in her home, in the municipality of Estância, this Tuesday, 26th. Two of the three suspects were arrested in the act near the scene of the crime.
According to the Public Security Secretariat (SSP), the woman had her house invaded by three men, who demanded money. However, the suspects did not find large amounts of money and began to violently beat the victim in the head area.
Given the situation, the victim managed to escape the attacks alive after pretending to be dead, which caused the criminals to leave his residence. Due to the injuries suffered, the woman had to be hospitalized in a serious condition.
Still according to the SSP, the Military Police were called and arrested one of the men near the victim’s residence. Then, civil police officers from the Estância Regional Police Station continued to search for the other two suspects and located the second of them in his mother’s house.
The two criminals are available to the Judiciary for a custody hearing. The Civil Police requests that information and reports about the third suspect involved in the case be passed on to the police through the Hotline (181). Confidentiality is guaranteed.
