PF fulfills warrant in Alagoas in national operation against child sexual abuse

The Federal Police (PF) launched, this Wednesday (27), Operation Share, for which 59 search and seizure warrants were issued in 21 units of the federation, including Alagoas, under the guidance of the Coordination for the Repression of Cyber ​​Crimes Related to Child and Youth Sexual Abuse in the Federal Police.

The operation focuses on identifying and arresting child abusers and rescuing victims. In Alagoas, a warrant is being served.

The operation is the result of information passed on by the Police of Italy and Spain, which detected the occurrence of criminal practices. From then on, it was possible for the PF to continue the investigations, complying with precautionary measures in an operation throughout Brazil.

In addition to the search and seizure warrants, 16 arrests were made as a result of the action.

Those investigated may face charges of storing and sharing child sexual abuse material and criminal association.
