The history teacher Bruna Flor de Macedo Barcelos denounced that he was the victim of a very serious incident that culminated in his dismissal. She had photos in which she appears nude leaked by studentsafter they accessed private folders cell phone guys her.

“I felt violated, violated. Subsequently, the school management created a letter saying that students felt embarrassed to attend my classes because they saw my nude photo. A reversal of who was the victim in the situation”, criticized the teacher, in an interview with G1.
Bruna reported that she lent her cell phone so that the students could take photographs of a school event which would later be used in a pedagogical activity.
However, they accessed private folders and shared the images with other colleagues. The teacher reported the leak of the photos to the Civil Police.
Bruna also reported that the school management became aware of the case after a coordinator observed several students gathered together. As you approach them, discovered that they were looking at a nude photo of Bruna.
“I worked until the fifth hour normally, without knowing anything. While everyone was already aware of the situation, I only found out at 6 pm, when the director, at the end of the day, called me to a meeting, saying that it was a conversation just between me and her. But there were six people in the room, I felt inhibited and that’s where she told me the fact. I was appalled”, highlighted the teacher.
After all the exposure to which she was a victim, Bruna became mistreated in the school environment by colleagues and management. She highlighted that she had a five-year contract with the school and the dismissal occurred less than eight months after the contract began, in 2023.
School response
The teacher sent a letter to the school management. In response, the institution said that the school regulations provide that Teachers cannot lend their personal cell phones to students.
The institution also stated that the decisions were taken in accordance with the Child and Adolescent Statute, which advocates the full protection of children and their rights. Furthermore, the institution claimed that it instructed the teacher to contact the police.
Bruna Barcelos argued that the cell phone was lent to the students because the school did not have devices that could film footage. Recording the event, which was part of Black Awareness Month, she said, was important.
