A 12-year-old teenager was found dead in Concórdia, in the west of Santa Catarina, late on Monday night (25) after leaving home to ride his bike and disappearing. The Civil Police investigates the case.
According to delegate Ediana Grenzel Person, the suspect is that the victim fell during the ride and suffered an injury that led to his death. The circumstances, however, will be investigated.
The boy was located in the Poente do Sol neighborhood around 11pm, close to the house where he lived. After leaving home around 6pm and not returning, the family contacted the authorities who began the search.
The Military Police and the Concordia Dog Rescue Group (GORSC) found the boy, and the Civil Police confirmed the death upon arriving at the scene. Authorities requested expertise from the Scientific Police to determine what happened.
