Procon/SC issued a letter to the Santa Catarina Football Federation and the boards of Criciúma and Brusque, communicating that in accordance with Art. 2, of Ordinance 35 of Senacon, they must guarantee access to the two final games, in Itajaí and Criciúma, free bottles for personal use, containing water for consumption in the stadiums, providing drinking fountains or distributing packages with water suitable for consumption, through the installation of “hydration islands” that are easily accessible to everyone present, in any case free of charge additional to the consumer.
The fine, which will certainly be applied to anyone who does not comply with the Ordinance, will be R$1 million. The supervision of the provisions of this Ordinance will be the responsibility of federal, state and municipal Public Administration bodies, designed to defend the interests and rights of the consumer. National Consumer Secretariat, extended this ordinance for another 120 days
