The Federal Highway Police (PRF) seized 82 iPhones and more than 600 bottles of supplements smuggled from Guyana. The action took place in the municipality of Bonfim, north of Roraima, on the border between Brazil and the country, and was announced this Friday (26).
The materials were seized during PRF policing on BR-401. They were found inside a car that was heading towards the capital Boa Vista and was approached during the journey.
According to the Highway Police, there were more than 90 types of dietary supplements, vitamins and steroids, valued at more than R$200,000. The cell phones, together, were valued at more than R$400,000.
The material was sent to the Federal Police headquarters in Boa Vista. The driver of the vehicle was also taken to the unit.
