For those who have a busy day to day life, the ability to go to the gym at any time of the day helps a lot. “I work and go to college, sometimes I don’t have much time to go, but as the gym is 24 hours a day it makes it easier in this regard and I can now maintain my consistency by either waking up earlier and working out in the early hours of the morning or going after work and working out a a little later”, said Andressa Delmont, bodybuilder and Nutrition student.

This flexibility is one of the factors for having people training at unconventional times. “The difference in a gym, for me, is having a flexible schedule to train. Due to my work schedule, I often missed training, so having the whole day to fit training into my routine was essential”, said Raquel Rodrigues, athlete and Physical Education student.

According to Kildary Fernandes, nutritionist and owner of Complexo Kildary Fernandes — which operates all day long —, the inspiration to enter this field came as a teenager, a time when he wanted to train on weekends and holidays, but there were no spaces available. .

“I made that promise. When I had the gym, I wasn’t going to close it. That’s why we don’t close any day of the year and I realize that physical activity is good for your health, physical and mental”, she reported.

Fernandes reports that early morning physical activity reduces stress, anxiety symptoms and improves sleep quality. “I have already noticed, with several patients, the reduction of black-label medicine, improvements in blood pressure and diabetes. The people who come early in the morning are people who generally work during the day and study at night. It is very comfortable for them to have a gym that is open at any time,” he highlighted.

The World Sleep Society, an organization dedicated to promoting sleep health around the world, estimates that sleep disorders are an epidemic that threatens the health and quality of life of 45% of the global population.

For Vitor Gurgel, personal trainer, there is no specific exercise to do at a certain time of the day, that is, there is no problem in going to the gym in the early hours of the morning, according to him. “All exercise, at all times, will generate benefits, so much so that physical activity even releases several relaxing hormones that will help you sleep,” he said.

For David Fernandes, the impact on physical well-being from physical activity is linked to a hormonal release. “Dopamine is a hormone responsible for signaling a feeling of pleasure and happiness in the brain. In the body we have a reduction in biochemical markers that reduce the chances of developing high blood pressure, increasing longevity and productivity in everyday life”, stated the personal trainer.
