Goiás Government Unit celebrates date to offer moments of care to teams

In celebration of Multidisciplinary Resident Day, celebrated on May 2nd, the State Center for Rehabilitation and Readaptation Dr. Henrique Santillo (Crer) celebrated the date on Friday (03/05). The event, promoted by the Teaching and Research supervision (Suenpes), with support from the Specialized Service in Safety and Occupational Medicine (Sesmt), was aimed at the well-being and relaxation of the multi-professional residents of the Goiás Government unit.

The celebration was attended by 40 people, including preceptors, tutors and residents from the areas of nursing, physiotherapy, speech therapy, psychology and occupational therapy. And its purpose was to offer a moment of physical and mental care for the team. A lively and dynamic session of workplace gymnastics was held, providing a relaxed environment conducive to relaxation and stretching.

For Karina da Silva Vale Yagi, nursing tutor and one of the organizers of the event, the initiative was fundamental in removing residents from their exhausting routine and providing moments of relaxation and self-care.

“By bringing residents to a relaxed environment, where we can promote occupational health, relaxation, stretching and activities that contribute to emotional and psychological well-being, we are not only celebrating the date, but also valuing these professionals”, highlights the tutor.
