At the end of March, a video of an argument between Jojo Todynho and a student at his law school in Rio de Janeiro surfaced. In the images, published by the Leo Dias portal, the funk singer and her colleague exchange insults, and get very close to each other. Today (25), the column by Ancelmo Gois, from the newspaper O Globo, revealed that the funk singer is being sued by student Gabriela dos Santos do Nascimento.
According to the report, the confusion between the two began in a WhatsApp group and worsened when they met in the university corridors. Gabriela says that another student wanted to know if Jojo was present in the classroom, to which she said no.
The singer arrived shortly after the message. At the end of the class, she allegedly offended Gabriela, accusing her of persecution and meddling in other people’s lives. The situation escalated and, in front of other students and staff, Jojo allegedly “scratched and attacked” Gabriela with a slap to the face, says the student.
Jordana was also accused of driving past the location after the incident and making threats against the young woman. “I’m waiting for your case on Tuesday, you’re going to face it again, you bastard”, she would have said.
To the process, registered at the 6th Civil Court of the Jacarepaguá Region, Nascimento attached the video recorded by other students, which shows the moment of the alleged aggression. She is asking for compensation in the amount of R$100,000 for moral damages.

At the time, the singer spoke out on social media and gave her version of the events. “I came to make something very clear here to you… I did not attack anyone. The school’s supervisory staff are there, who were present to confirm yesterday’s event. And much less did I threaten because I’m not a threatening woman, you know that.”she countered, in Instagram Stories.
Jojo then detailed what motivated the disagreement. “This pretty girl has been mocking me since classes last week, but so far so good, I [fui] archiving. Then another pretty one, unoccupied, because I think college groups are for talking about college work, not for gossiping or wanting to know about each other’s lives, right? Does not matter. There, [ela] put it like this: ‘Did Todynho go to college today?’. Then this one replied: ‘No hahaha’. And then she said: ‘Oh, she came, I didn’t even see it’. Mockery… So I went and asked her if my life is of interest to her or the other, because I don’t owe her or anyone else satisfaction, because they aren’t the ones who pay, have they become inspectors? (…) Then she set herself up for me and what’s in the video happened”he explained.
Finally, the funk singer once again denied any physical confrontation. “I never attacked her, okay? There is supervisor Nilma and several other people who were present to test the situation. That’s what happened. Simple. People have to stop this habit of wanting to give their opinion and get involved in other people’s lives. If I go or don’t go, I stop going, that’s my problem. It doesn’t concern anyone. If everyone had minded their own business, this wouldn’t have happened.”concluded Jojo.
