Industrial Sector foresees improvements in business with changes in registry offices

The Piauí Industries Center (Ciepi) met with the new notary head of the 5th Office Notary Office, Ilimane Oliveira Fonseca, to talk about the recent changes in the Teresina registry offices, which foresees improvements in the business environment in Piauí through the issuance of faster deeds, such as those of purchase and sale, donation, mortgage, among other documents.

One of the main reasons for improving the efficiency of notary offices, highlighted by notary Ilimane Oliveira Fonseca, is the incorporation of new notaries approved in a public competition and who assume the position with the obligation to present a service with more efficiency and agility for the population.

“The main changes we will have are the deeds of purchase and sale, donation, mortgage, among others, which will be issued much faster. Property registries, as notary offices are increasingly computerized and have increasingly digitized collections, thus optimizing efficiency and delivering results to the client. This trend started in March, with the new notaries who took over, who are all public servants, and who now have the obligation to present a service with more efficiency and agility for the population”, highlights Fonseca.

The change brings excellent prospects, especially for the Civil Construction sector, which depends on the issuance of a series of documents for the construction of properties. The vice-president of Ciepi and businessman in the Civil Construction sector, Andrade Júnior, is optimistic about the new scenario. “With this new wave of notaries who are taking over the registry offices in the city of Teresina, I believe that a major bottleneck will be resolved. We have always fought, within Sinduscon and within Ciepi industries, to create a business environment favorable to new ventures and also to the birth of new entrepreneurs. I believe that these notaries, with a new vision, making notary offices a business and with the same energy that we want to undertake, will also put us on another level of development in the state of Piauí”, highlights Andrade Júnior.

For Federico Musso, president of Ciepi, the advance in the efficiency of processes within registry offices brings excellent improvements to the industrial sector. “The efficiency of notary offices improves business as a whole and the industrial sector is no exception, because every industrial process, when we need to make working capital, investment financing, we need records of endorsements. And if this delays within the registry offices, it ends up delaying financing, investment, and that is money we lose. Talking to Ilimane, he made it clear that the real estate sector in Piauí works very well. And if this already happens, with the fluid functioning of the registry offices, it will be even better. We see these changes from a very good perspective and we hope to see an improvement in the efficiency of processes within the registry offices in the coming months”, concludes Federico Musso.
