The samba singer Arlindo Cruz, 65 years old, was admitted again to the Casa de Saúde São José, in Humaitá, in the South Zone of Rio, on Sunday (21), due to a respiratory infection. He is being treated with intravenous antibiotics and, according to the medical report, he has a “good clinical laboratory response”.
The information was confirmed by the samba singer’s wife on a social network. According to Babi Cruz, Arlindo is in a semi-intensive unit, receiving all the necessary care.
“We had to hospitalize Arlindo. Arlindo has an autoimmune disease, which makes him more fragile. Arlindo has a tracheostomy, Arlindo has GTT, he has been bedridden for 7 years. We arrived with brachycardia, which was controlled at time,” said Babi.
“Thanks to the resistance he has, he has everything balanced again, within his possibilities, within the framework he finds himself in, everything is fine”, he added.
