Former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) had to cancel his schedule in Belo Horizonte, Contagem and Divinópolis next Saturday (11/5) due to health problems. The head of the far right would come to Minas Gerais to participate in a series of pre-campaign launches. The cancellation of his visit to the state was confirmed by the communications department and Bolsonaro.

This afternoon, Sunday (5/5), Bolsonaro was hospitalized again in Manaus to treat a skin infection, after going to the hospital and being discharged last Saturday (4), for the same problem. In 2022, Bolsonaro also had erysipelas, an infectious disease that inflames the skin and blood vessels.
The former president has been in Amazonas since Friday (3), met with political allies in the state and participated in a PL event with former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro.
In Minas, he would participate in the launch of state deputy Bruno Engler’s (PL-MG) campaign for Belo Horizonte City Hall.
Due to the cancellation of Bolsonaro’s visit to Minas Gerais, the launch of Engler’s pre-candidacy was postponed. The new date has not yet been defined.
He would also launch federal deputy Cabo Junio (PL-MG) in Contagem. Afterwards, the former president would have a meeting with the mayor of Divinópolis, Gleidson Azevedo (Novo), a pre-candidate for re-election.
