Yoga teacher Vi Bueno Maruca finally spoke about her supposed romance with musician Lucas Lima, Sandy’s ex-husband. In a video published on Instagram, Vi confirmed that she met Lucas a few times, but says she realized that he was not a person she wanted to have a relationship with. The teacher also made it clear that she is single.
Rumors of the two’s involvement began circulating on the internet in February this year. At the time, IG columnist Gabriel Perline announced that Vi and Lucas were dating.
On social media, the yoga teacher denied that the relationship was a relationship.
“What happened a month ago was two people who were getting to know each other a little better. What came out in the media is a record of a second meeting, something very immature, still green. Two people who were simply getting to know each other and I had the unfortunate idea of posting my practice and everything that happened happened. It wasn’t on purpose (…) Everyone is living their own life, thank God”, he explained.
Vi also said that Lucas was not a person she would like to date and assured that she is single.
“It has nothing to do with a relationship, I’m single, I don’t even have time in my schedule to have had a serious relationship. It was just two people who were trying to get to know each other, it’s still very raw, you only have a brief glimpse of what the person is. And within the notion that I had there, I realized that he was not a person I wanted to have a relationship with,” she said.
In stories, the yoga teacher vented after clarifying the story. “Thank God we can follow him on Instagram, me being me, without anyone thinking it’s indirect. I post things about life, it’s not for anything, for anyone,” she said.
Sandy and Lucas Lima separated in September
Sandy and Lucas Lima announced the end of their relationship after 24 years together and 15 years married, on September 25, 2023. The decision was communicated through a post on Instagram, where they asked for respect for “such an intimate, difficult and private moment” and highlighted that they are focused on taking care of their son, Theo Lima, aged nine.
“It was not an easy decision, nor an impulsive one”, they declared in the caption of a photo together, in black and white. “There was no fight, no hurt, no trauma… we were able to see that this was the best path and we will stop being a couple in the same way we were one: with lots of love, respect and infinite friendship”, they added.
Highlighting that the separation was amicable, the ex-couple wrote that the family built and the love are “forever”.
