See Madonna’s best looks from her ‘Celebration’ tour
Madonna’s Brazilian fans are in a frenzy. The queen of pop will perform at Copacabana Beach, in Rio de Janeiro, on May 4th.
The excitement is understandable, as Madonna will bring the “Celebration” tour to Brazil, which brings together hits from 40 years of her career.
As per tradition, the singer promises not only a show in musical terms, but also visually. From the scenery to the costumes, the artist’s show is full of glamour.
Semana Pop lists Madonna’s five best looks on “The Celebration Tour”. Watch the video above.
Perhaps the most famous costume of Madonna’s career, the corset with a cone-shaped bra gained a new version for “Celebration”.
Designed by French fashion designer Jean Paul Gautltier, the original look appeared in 1990 during the “Blonde Ambition” tour.
The new version is a black minidress, full of crystals.
At the beginning of the “Celebration” show, Madonna appears to the sound of “Nothing really matters”, in a look reminiscent of the song’s 1998 music video.
The singer wears a black kimono with two huge slits on the sleeves. On her head, she carries a sparkling halo, with a clear allusion to religious symbols, which she has always liked to do.
The look’s designer is Eyob Yohannes.
In “Erotica”, the artist throws herself into a very sexy performance. In the look, she wears a red silk nightgown.
Also designed by Yohannes, the piece features lace at breast height and above the knees.
Madonna’s cowgirl version, which marked her phase in the 2000s, also has space on the tour.
In “Don’t tell me”, for example, the singer appears in a cowboy hat, leather boots, a studded coat and a sweeping leather corset designed by Lacey Dalimonte.
From neck to toe, Madonna wears a sparkling silver jumpsuit. Designed like futuristic armor, the look is designed by Italian designer Donatella Versace.
The outfit makes us see the queen of pop flaunt her past, present and future brilliance.
