Manoel Gomes, from the hit ‘Caneta azul’, fulfills his dream of visiting the USA: ‘I won’

Famous with the hit “Caneta azul”, Manoel Gomes celebrates his first trip to the USA. The 54-year-old singer and songwriter from Maranhão fulfilled his dream of visiting New York and posed in Time Square. “I won,” he celebrated on social media.

Since becoming famous, Manoel Gomes has led a life of pure luxury. After buying a mansion in Alphaville, an upscale area of ​​São Paulo, he bought his second car.

The first was a brand new Range Rover that he just bought, valued at R$650,000. The second is a Fiat Strada, which costs R$132,000.

In January, Manoel opened the doors of his new mansion where he had just moved. The singer and songwriter from Maranhão received surfer and ex-BBB member Pedro Scooby, who recorded a video of the visit for Podpah.

“I lived in a cramped house, now I have a loose house”, celebrated Manoel, who showed all the rooms of the residence, which has two floors, a swimming pool, dining, living and cinema rooms, suites, in addition to the outdoor gourmet area and garage for three cars.

Manoel highlighted one of the guest rooms, which has a hammock for swinging. He says it reminds him of the farm he came from, in Balsas, Maranhão. “I worked in the fields, it was really good there. I planted rice, corn, beans,” he said.

The man from Maranhão said that he feels fulfilled and that living with his son in Alphaville, an upscale area of ​​São Paulo, has been one of his greatest achievements: “Here there are some birds that sing and that reminds me of my region”.

Manoel Gomes became famous in 2019, when he decided to compose a song after he lost a pen at school and was scolded by the teacher. Co-workers posted a video of him singing on the internet, and the recording went viral.
