“I had surgery on my knee and everything went well! I’ll tell you about something… I had never been able to fulfill my dream of traveling with my friends for a surf trip. This year I had already paid for everything and everything was ready to go to Mentawaii in Indonesia to surf the best waves in the world with some of my best friends. There were brothers from Portugal, here from Brazil and even some in Australia. Anyway, it wasn’t meant to be, I tore the ligament in my knee and the part was bad”, he said.

“Yes, I’m that person who believes that everything has a reason and if I wasn’t supposed to go now it’s because something else was waiting for me. In short, I had this date from April 8th to April 26th for a ‘vacation’ to surf and now I’m going to spend this time dedicating myself as much as possible to having my ‘new’ knee even better than it was before and you know what, I’m happy!”, he continued.

“By injuring myself badly like that, I learned that I can overcome things that I thought were almost impossible, like relearning how to walk, doing shows, playing at Carnival, traveling for 2 months with an iron splint on my leg”, said the singer.

“I realized that the strength of our mind is truly a great strength! and that depending on how we see the prism, everything ends up becoming lighter and clearer. I met incredible people who helped me, who cared a lot about me and we ended up creating beautiful connections ! including, thank you! you who added it, who sent the vibe at that moment and who will continue to add it (we have a long recovery ahead of us) you can’t imagine how much I thank you and love you well. There are things that have to be as they are being, is not in our control. Now, what we can control and how we bear the weight of events, that’s up to us”, he said.

Finally, the artist spoke about returning to the stage. “From here I only take love, light and I can’t wait to do my first show with my new knee! It couldn’t be any different, the first show after that will be in a place that I consider my home, Audio in São Paulo, May 1st I’m waiting for you so we can celebrate life. Light!”
