Rio – Admitted to a hospital in Rio, Anderson Leonardo, 51 years old, woke up well this Thursday and started eating again after the nutritionist’s approval. To the DAYthe artist’s press office also reported that the singer, undergoing treatment for cancer in the inguinal region, has received visits from family and friends at the health unit.

“Anderson woke up well. The nutritionist allowed him to eat, initially processed food, because he hadn’t eaten for a long time, he spent the night well”, says Anderson’s representative. This morning, the singer took “a vitamin”.

The Molejo singer’s advisor also says that he has received a lot of support from family and friends at the health unit. “He has received many visitors, the family is directly at the hospital practically staying with him, taking turns. Anderson is not alone for a second.”

Anderson showed a small improvement this Wednesday, but his clinical condition is still considered serious. “His clinical condition is serious, today there was an improvement, he stayed awake for longer. He talked to the boys in the group. But he requires greater care”, said the singer’s advisor.

The artist was diagnosed with cancer in the groin region in October 2022. Five months after celebrating the cure, he had to resume treatment last year. The artist, who had been discharged on the 19th, was hospitalized again in serious condition last Sunday (24).

During his participation in Globo’s “Encontro”, Andrezinho commented on Anderson’s current state of health. “At this moment, it is within the diagnosis given by the doctors. He had an improvement that even cheered us up too. He woke up, sang, spoke, sang, talked to people, played. Then he was sedated again, because he was very agitated like the doctors reported. Everyone (from the band) went to the room and saw him and he was… The diagnosis is in line with what the doctors said, which maybe is also a glimmer of hope, in terms of him being able to come back.”
