Singer Solange Almeida, 49, underwent unscheduled surgery in the early hours of Thursday (28) and the news was reported by the artist’s team on her social networks.
Searched for Who, Solange’s press office reported that she underwent an urgent laparoscopy after experiencing abdominal pain and doctors suspected intestinal obstruction. “She had the surgery and now everything is fine. She will be away for seven days”, informed the artist’s team.
The statement posted on the social network said that she will need a week of absolute rest and the appointments that the artist had scheduled for the next few days will be postponed.
“Announcement: the office of singer Solange Almeida informs that the artist underwent an unscheduled surgical intervention, in the early hours of March 28, in Fortaleza. The doctors who accompanied the artist inform that the procedure occurred within normal limits and that the artist will need absolute rest for the next seven (7) days”, the note said.
“In view of what happened, all appointments scheduled for the next few days will be postponed, including the presentation that would take place next Saturday (30), in Nazaré, Bahia, which we are very sorry for and send our apology. We count on the energy positive from everyone for a quick recovery so that our star can return to the stage and to his commitments as soon as possible”, the statement concluded.
The singer received support from fans and famous colleagues. One of her four children, Rafael Almeida, left a loving message for his mother. “I love you,” he wrote.
