Launched in 2019 with simultaneous presentation in Brazil, Germany and China, the Volkswagen T-Cross has always had its particularities in different markets. However, its restyling, promoted a few months ago in Europe and scheduled to debut in Brazil next week, will change that. According to new images, the new national T-Cross will finally be identical to the European one.
Published by the @v22garage page on Instagram, the images taken of a camouflaged unit were quite revealing. This is an entry-level configuration, revealed by the 16-inch wheels (the same as the current 200 TSI version), the analog air conditioning controls and the simple fabric seats.
Even so, it is possible to note that the SUV will have headlights illuminated by LEDs, even in an entry-level version, following the strategy of the “brothers” Polo and Nivus. The headlights are simple reflectors, as in the entry-level versions of the new European T-Cross, but it is not ruled out that the more expensive ones here will have headlights with projectors and IQ.Light technology, as in the Polo GTS. This would be for the Highline version or even a possible (and unprecedented) R-Line.
The bumper will also be the same as the European one, with rounded openings at the ends (which house vertical LEDs in the more expensive options in Europe) and a silver appliqué in the central part. Just above, the grille also repeats the weave and the single central fillet, which will be illuminated, as in Taos, Tiguan and Polo GTS.

At the back, the lights will also be the same as the cheaper versions, with LED lighting that invades the trunk lid, where part of the position lighting and the reverse light are located. In the more expensive versions sold in Europe, Style and R-Line, the layout of the headlights is different, with a kind of letter “X” in separate elements. This should be exclusive to Europeans.
The shots reveal for the first time the interior of the national 2025 T-Cross. The main change is the multimedia center, which is now clearly larger and is visually independent, despite “leaning” on the panel. Previously, it had an appearance integrated into the dashboard and instrument panel. The larger screen, like the unit, is only available in the more expensive versions of the European model – and as an option.

The instrument panel is digital, even in the entry-level version, but the air conditioning is analog – the item with digital operation will be reserved for the more expensive versions. The expectation is that the finish will also be like that of the “rich brother”, with better quality materials.
There are no expectations for mechanical changes to the SUV, which will continue to be equipped with 1.0 turbo engines with 128 hp and 1.4 turbo engines with 150 hp. The only new feature, not yet confirmed, could be the debut of the 116 hp 1.0 turbo engine, the same as the Polo, for the entry-level version, Sense.
