Bayer, another multinational giant in the sector, created Agri-Copilot, which is being called the “ChatGPT of Agro”. The software, made in collaboration with Microsoft, responds in an intuitive and personalized way to rural producers’ questions, based on agricultural and environmental data.

Drones will have easier financing

Drones, once seen as military technology of the future, are already considered essential items in agriculture in 2024. With their own stands with an area and protective screens for testing, companies brought to Brazil specialized devices in the field, such as Eavision’s Pandora, the world’s first drone that integrates spraying, geographic mapping and load lifting.

The equipment is financed through a partnership between the cooperative and the São Paulo Department of Agriculture, which launched a program to enable the use of drones by small and medium-sized producers. With good demand, these flying objects are even in the catalog of credit unions, such as the DJI Agras T50, manufactured in China and sold this year by Coopercitrus.

Another project that has served family agribusiness in the technology sector is Desenvolvimento SP. The development agency linked to the State Department of Economic Development took its team of consultants to the fair to present farmers with lines of credit aimed at financing sustainable projects, innovation, investments for agricultural machinery and implements.

Banco do Brasil, which in February announced investment in startup Traive, also brought resources to connect agricultural credit to technology companies. The project focusing on the use of AI was mediated by the Corporate Venture Capital Program (CVC), with contributions made by the BB Impacto ASG Fund – managed by Vox Capital. At Agrishow, however, other resources were directed to meet demand, according to BB’s advisors.
