Company seeks partners to build DG solar plants

A BRS (Usinas Brasil Solar) – a company that has a pipeline of more than 80 MW of photovoltaic projects in Brazil – is looking for partners who are interested in working with Implementation in solar plants in GD (distributed generation).

BRS informs that it will be responsible for all activities necessary to make the solar plant project viable, from development to operation and maintenance of the plants.

This includes obtaining connection licenses, supplying equipment, logistics, civil and electromechanical works, assembling electrical infrastructure, originating and managing distributed generation customers, and structuring financial products.

“We have projects in the Northeast and Southeast looking for partners. BRS does everything, from the design to the delivery of the finished plant. The investor will not worry about anything other than waiting for the final result”, he explains. Rafael D’Angelo, director of BRS.

“The partner we are looking for is one who sees value in having BRS as a partner and who seeks a solution one stop shop, who wants a player that carries out all stages from the development and implementation of the project. Right now, we are prospecting medium and large companies to scale the operation”, he highlights.

Project under development

A BRS, in partnership with the M4 Group, it will launch five new solar projects in June this year in Brazil. There will be two plants in Ceará – Guaraci (5 MW) and Dois Irmãos (1 MW) – and three in São Paulo: Bebedouro (3 MW), Taiúva (1 MW) and Araraquara (1 MW).

In addition to contributing to the environment, the plants will also contribute to the creation of local jobs and the socioeconomic development of the regions where the plants will be installed. The total investment in these plants is R$65 million.

“Investors are increasingly interested in low-risk, predictable businesses with distribution stability. The company’s projects fit into these concepts and were developed with the possibility of different plant sizes per region”, highlights D´Angelo.
