The city of Recife launched, this Tuesday (2), the “capiba currency”, a type of social digital credit that accumulates by completing challenges on the Conecta Recife app. There are activities proposed in different areas related to the provision of services in the city, such as sports, health, environment and culture.
After completing all stages of the challenges, “Capibas coins” can be exchanged for prizes and products, such as tickets, coupons, purchase vouchers from partner companies and benefits in various areas, such as food, communication and leisure.
Furthermore, it will be possible exchange coins for Metropolitan Electronic Valley (VEM) credits and coupons at an app-based transport and bicycle rental company.
