In partnership with Burger King, Cimed created a new edition of its lip balm to celebrate April Fools’ Day: a Carmed, with a fire-grilled flavor that feels warm in the mouth. The product will not be sold, only distributed in fast food chain stores.

According to the companies, instead of using the April 1st date to launch something that doesn’t exist, the brands came together to represent the flavor of the restaurant’s burger. The product will be distributed free of charge when purchasing some specific snack combos. The campaign will take place while stocks of the new Carmed last, in 37 participating restaurants throughout Brazil.

As part of the campaign, Cimed’s vice-president, Karla Felmanas, and the company’s CEO, João Adibe, participated in the launch of the product, publishing content on their social networks.

This Tuesday, the 2nd, professionals will be at the restaurant located at Avenida Rebouças, 2184, from 3pm to 5pm, taking orders at the counter to promote the action, explaining the unusual partnership between the two brands.

The announcement of the partnership was made official this Monday, 1st, with a video on BK and Carmed’s social networks.
