Furthermore, Marine expressed concern about the negative impact of the anniversary withdrawal on resources allocated to housing and sanitation. He highlighted that around R$100 billion were withdrawn by banks due to this practice, which could affect investments in these essential areas.

FGTS withdrawal methods

  6. Personal, urgent and serious need, arising from a natural disaster caused by rain or floods that have reached the worker’s area of ​​residence, when the emergency situation or state of public calamity is thus recognized, by means of a federal government order;

  7. Suspension of Casual Work;

  8. Death of the worker;

  9. When the holder of the linked account is aged 70 or over;

  10. When the worker or his dependent is a carrier of the HIV virus;

  11. When the worker or his dependent has cancer;

  12. When the worker or his dependent is in a terminal stage, due to a serious illness;

  13. Permanence of the worker holding the linked account for three uninterrupted years outside the FGTS regime, with leave from 07/14/1990;

  14. Acquisition of your own home, settlement or amortization of debt or payment of part of the housing financing installments.

Who is entitled to FGTS withdrawals?
