Mosquito

On board the gigantic Maersk Alabama, in 2009, he and his crew suffered the unusual situation of being kidnapped in the middle of the ocean by a group of pirates from Somalia. Fighting against time, using all the knowledge he has about the vessel and counting on the help of his crew, Phillips fights a difficult psychological battle with the pirate leader.

Sisu: A Story of Determination

In the plot, we meet Aatami (Jorma Tommila), a former commander of the Finnish army, feared by his own battalion, who abandoned the times of war, left in a land to the north, still destroyed, in the middle of nowhere, where he becomes a prospector and begins to find generous amounts of gold. But his path soon crosses with that of unscrupulous Nazis thirsty for the gold they found.

In the plot, we follow an experienced sailor who has to face the biggest challenge of his life when, on the high seas and alone, his boat is hit by a giant container full of shoes. With serious damage to his boat, he must fight day and night to survive.

The fall

In the plot, we meet friends Becky (Grace Caroline Currey) and Hunter (Virginia Gardner), two adventurers who love mountain climbing and on one of these adventures they end up witnessing a fatal incident with the boyfriend of one of them. A year passes and the pair of friends get together again, this time for a new challenge: climbing to a transmission antenna that is more than 600 meters above the ground located in a desert in California. Something unexpected happens and the friends will need to come together even more to seek solutions from above.

Thirteen Lives – The Rescue

In the plot, we return to the year 2018 where in mid-July, during the Men’s Football World Cup, a group of players from an amateur team called Wild Javals, after training and to start the birthday celebrations of one of them, decide Together with your coach, take a tour through a region full of caves that has always been linked to folklore and is close to the Thai border with a country called Myanmar. Time changes radically when they are inside one of the caves and a trip that was supposed to be quick ends up lasting many days. In the plot, we meet the highly successful former skier Sophie (Skyler Davenport), a young woman who, after some achievements in her promising career, ended up becoming blind. This new condition led her to a certain rebellion that caused her relationship with her mother to become bitter and to the point of inconsequential thefts in jobs where she took care of the homes of people who traveled. One day, after accepting another job of this type, she ends up being held hostage in an unusual situation when thieves break into the house where she is staying to break into a safe. Without really knowing what is happening, she manages to make a call from an app that helps blind people, thus meeting Kelly (Jessica ParkerKennedy), an army veteran, who helps her find solutions so that the night doesn’t end in a great tragedy.

Oxygen

In the plot, we follow a woman (Mélanie Laurent) who wakes up inside a capsule full of technological devices and computers. After the first minutes of despair, having to control his breathing and emotions, he manages to come into contact with a voice, an artificial intelligence linked to the place where he is. Seeking to find some answers, before the oxygen that feeds the capsule she is in runs out, to find solutions to get out of this situation, she gradually comes to understand who she is and so choices will need to be made from that moment on.

The Decline

In the plot, we meet Antoine (Guillaume Laurin) a family man who we soon realized is a fan of protection and a big fan of a YouTuber who talks about survival tactics in case the world goes into a tailspin for any reason. Wanting to go deeper into these lessons, which range from how to handle weapons and traps, to how to store rice for 20 years, the protagonist decides to go to this YouTuber’s personal training, which is in an isolated area full of snow in the interior of Quebec. Once there, he and a few other students will need to face each other when, after an explosives class, one of them ends up accidentally dying. Not knowing what to do, whether to call the police or not, madness takes over the place.
