Two military horses were seen running in central London, in England, this Wednesday morning (24). During the escape, recorded near the Aldwych road, the animals crashed into vehicles, including a tour bus that was parked. According to the British press, at least five people were injured.

The confusion was recorded by residents, who shared the images on social media. In one of the videos it is possible to see one of the horses apparently covered in blood, while another shows residents calming the other animal. In total, it is estimated that seven horses escaped during a routine exercise.

“Several military working horses became loose during routine exercise this morning. All horses have now been recovered and returned to camp. Several personnel and horses were injured and are receiving appropriate medical care,” the British Army said in a statement.

A BBC, a taxi driver, identified only as Robbie, said he witnessed what happened. He told the station that “he heard a gallop and, when he looked back, there were about three or four horses.” “I looked in the rear view mirror and saw them coming right behind me. Luckily, they swerved into the middle of the road and continued running,” he said.
