At least one person died and 24 others were injured in Russian attacks on Orthodox Easter Sunday in the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv, local authorities said.

The regional governor, Oleh Syniehubov, detailed on Telegram that at least six people were injured in a drone attack in the Osnovyanskyi district in the early hours of Sunday. Another 15 people were injured the same day in an aerial bomb attack on the city center. The fatal victim is a woman who was buried under rubble in the village of Monachynivka, east of Kharkiv. Three other people were injured in this attack.

Due to heavy Russian attacks over the weekend, authorities reported electricity outages in Kharkiv and the suburbs.

Although Russia guarantees that it does not attack civilian targets, the attacks damaged several residential buildings.
