Ugly Betty, The Story Continuesseries derived from the Colombian soap opera I’m Ugly Betty (1999) had its premiere date announced this Wednesday (8) by Prime Video. The production will be available on July 19th.
Produced by RCN Studios, the new series tells the story of the iconic Beatriz Pinzón Solano, Ugly Betty, 20 years after the end of the original soap opera. While the empowered Betty (Ana Maria Orozco) works hard to rebuild the bond with her teenage daughter, her relationship with her husband Armando Mendoza (Jorge Enrique Abello) is deteriorating rapidly, which makes her question whether 20 years ago she made the right decision.
