Actors from ‘Alma Matea’ who have died – Celebrities

From April 29th, viewers will have the opportunity to relive the exciting moments of the soap opera ‘Alma Gmea’, on TV Globo, and thus remember not only the love story between Rafael and Serena, but also the talent of great names from Brazilian television drama that have already left us.

Among these names is that of actress Neusa Maria Faro, who played the remarkable Divina Santini in the plot. Neusa left us in July 2023, at the age of 78, due to complications from a thrombosis, adding her voice to a list of talents lost to this condition.

Other talents who left their mark on ‘Alma Matea’ were Nicette Bruno, Hilda Rebello, Lady Francisco and Umberto Magnani. Nicette, who played the matriarch Oflia Santini, passed away in 2020, victim of complications from Covid-19, while Hilda, Lady and Umberto also left us in previous years, but leaving a lasting legacy on Brazilian television.

Hilda, Lady and Umberto died, respectively, due to complications from a respiratory infection, a fall requiring surgery on the femur and a hemorrhagic stroke.
