Follow Antenado warns that 32 municipalities in Pernambuco have low demand for free installation of digital satellite dishes

To access the benefit, you must be registered with CadÚnico, have a traditional satellite dish in operation and make an appointment with the entity

Siga Antenado, the entity responsible for replacing traditional satellite dishes with the new digital satellite dish in the homes of low-income families, has already reached the milestone of 2.5 million kits installed free of charge in homes across the country. This technology guarantees that beneficiaries who currently watch satellite TV via analog signal can watch the digital signal with better sound and image quality and a variety of more than 80 channels, including local programming in different regions of Brazil.

More than 1.6 million installations were carried out in the Northeast region. Despite these significant numbers, in several Brazilian cities, the population has not responded to Siga Antenado’s invitations to schedule and install equipment and, thus, not be left without watching TV when the analogue signal is completely turned off.

In Pernambuco, more than 172 thousand families are already experiencing a better television experience. Scheduling is being released in phases in the cities, Siga Antenado has open scheduling in 85 municipalities, but in 32 of them, the installation percentage is still below what the entity expected, and it is important to pay attention to the population so as not to run the risk of being left without access to television channels.

The 32 municipalities with open scheduling and which had the lowest participation are: Abreu e Lima, Amaraji, Angelim, Barra de Guabiraba, Camaragibe, Canhotinho, Chá de Alegria, Condado, Cupira, Feira Nova, Fernando de Noronha, Glória do Goitá, Igarassu, Island of Itamaracá, Itapissuma, Jaboatão dos Guararapes, Lagoa de Itaenga, Moreno, Olinda, Panelas, Passira, Paulista, Primavera, Recife, Salgadinho, São Lourenço da Mata, Tacaimbó, Toritama, Venturosa, Vertentes, Carpina and Caruaru. Residents of these municipalities should remain alert and contact Siga Antenado through the channels provided as soon as possible.
