Shortly after the show began, vegan chef Charlotte, 42, bit off a piece of her finger while chopping cabbage for the initial task. She admitted that she was working “as fast as she could” to complete the recipe on time when the accident happened.
After injuring herself, Charlotte asked for help, but presenter John Torode showed that her fingertip had been left on the knife blade: “I’m sorry to say that you bit off your fingertip and that means you’re going to have to go and see the doctor and get it sorted.”. One internet user was upset about not being able to follow the final result of Charlotte’s dish. “I just watched the beginning of this season of ‘Masterchef’ and the woman who makes vegan food cut her fingertip badly and was taken away to sort it out so we don’t see her food.
