An apartment valued at around R$800,000, which belongs to Vampeta, will go up for auction on June 4th to cover part of a debt that the former player owes to his two daughters due to non-payment of child support. The process began in 2018 and has been dragging on in court ever since.

According to the lawyer for Vampeta’s daughters, Eva Petrella, the debt from this case is currently R$634,613.00, in addition to the others from subsequent years. After several attempts to seize the five-time world champion’s assets, she managed to take the property to auction.

The apartment is located in Condomínio Agulhas Negras, in Jardim Anália Franco, one of the upscale neighborhoods in the East Zone of São Paulo. Vampeta’s occupies the 9th floor of one of the buildings, has 67 m² of floor space, with a parking space. Today the property is occupied.
The unit has three bedrooms, one of which is a suite, two bathrooms, living room, kitchen, living area and balcony. According to the Attorney General of the Municipality of São Paulo. Vampeta also owes R$47,567.72 in IPTU, between 2007 and 2021.
Last year, Vampeta’s daughters and his ex-wife, Roberta Soares Galiza, asked for the seizure of bank shares belonging to the former athlete’s company. The debt he owes to Gabriela Santos, 22, and Giovana Santos, 20, reaches almost R$1 million.
