In the final stretch of the season, Real Valladolid recorded their fifth consecutive victory this Saturday (4) and took the lead in LaLiga 2. Away from home, Paulo Pezzolano’s team defeated Mirandés, 1-0, at the Municipal Stadium of Anduva, in Miranda de Ebro. The goal was scored by striker Raúl Moro.
With the positive result, Real Valladolid reached 67 points and opened a three-point lead over Leganés, with 64. However, the vice-leader will still play this Sunday (5), at 1:30 pm (Brasília time), away from home, against Eldense, currently 16th.
Once again, the defender Lucas Oliveira, on loan from Cruzeiro, acted improvised as a midfielder and Pezzolano’s team did not concede any goals. Interestingly, with four rounds remaining in the Second Division, it was Real Valladolid’s fifth consecutive victory without their defense having been leaked.

In LaLiga 2, three clubs move up to the First Division. The third club to achieve promotion is defined through a playoff played between 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th placed.
The points difference between leader Valladolid and Eiber, third in the table, is six points. It is worth mentioning that, like Leganés, Eibar still has the game of the round to play.
