This Wednesday (24), the participant of “A Grande Conquista”, Anahí Rodrighero, revealed to the other inmates that she is a trans woman. She mentioned her transsexuality while telling her life story to other people on the Record reality show. The businesswoman explained that she took a while to address the subject, as she did not want to turn it into something banal, but rather highlight the representation she carries.
“I am a trans woman, and I am very happy to be here. Because I believe that my story has a whole representation behind it, you know? I’m very happy, because I know that, among 100 people, I’m the only one from Acre and I’m the only trans woman. The first trans woman on the program. And I didn’t even say that at my house, guys”said Anahí.
Then, the Acre woman said why it took so long to reveal the information to those confined. “People outside already know, I left content and everything. What came into my head: talking [sobre isso] at a time that I felt comfortable. Because I wouldn’t speak in a banal way, just to say: ‘Guys, hi, I’m trans’. Because I am many other things besides that. Since I might not be here tomorrow, I already picked up the slack and told you.”she added.
After telling something so personal, Anahí was congratulated by her companions on the reality show. They praised her and spoke of her courage. “What a story! It’s great that you’re here, it’s really important. And you don’t need to shout this to everyone. You have to tell people that you are sympathetic. You are a nice girl”said Bifão, reality veteran. On their Instagram profile, Anahí’s team shared the moment and declared: “Any’s story is simply beautiful and full of meaning. She is, indeed, a courageous trans woman who left her homeland, Acre, to seek a new life in São Paulo. Upon entering the reality show, she faced her biggest fears: her insecurities, traumas and the fear of people’s judgment, just for being herself. But with each challenge, she overcomes herself and inspires us. Her presence in the cast not only adds diversity, but also challenges the limits of inclusion. We will support her with all our might, because her fight is a battle for representation and equality for all of us. It’s not just for Any, it’s for everyone”.

Life’s history
Shortly before revealing that she was a trans woman, Anahí told her life story. “I came from a little town called Brasiléria [no Acre]. I always dreamed of living in a big city. And then when I was 18, I moved to São Paulo, I had the dream of having a store, and I tried to set it up several times with my mother, but it didn’t work out”recalled the participant.
“And then I showed up. As I’m an influencer, I got a lot of looks from stores and then I set up my own store. Today is a success. I wear several [peças] (…) And I got married when I was 21, I’m in love with my husband, I’m married. I miss you so much, love. I’m a mother, a pet mother. Four-legged son, because for me he really is a son, I’m in love with him”added Anahí.
