Jundiahy’s Pink Niagara Grape and city products are highlighted at Agrishow

Farmers from Jundiaí visited, this Thursday (02), Agrishow 2024 – International Agricultural Technology Fair, in Ribeirão Preto. The Agribusiness, Supply and Tourism Management Unit (UGAAT), the Agricultural Association and Sebrae Jundiaí offered transport and tickets for rural producers.

“This trip to Agrishow aims to offer opportunities for rural producers in Jundiaí to stay up to date with new agricultural techniques and technologies, in addition to doing business as well,” said Jundiaí Agribusiness Director, Isabel Harder.

The fair also featured exhibitors of products from Jundiaí, as well as the participation of the geographical indication of the Jundiahy Niagara Grape at the São Paulo Forum of Geographical Indications and Collective Brands stand. “The grapes here in the Jundiaí region are recognized as having superior quality compared to others. After achieving the Geographical Indication, taking our grapes to one of the largest agricultural fairs in the world is gratifying and shows the power of agriculture in Jundiaí”, praised the Agribusiness, Supply and Tourism manager, Eduardo Alvarez. According to the Jundiaí Agricultural Association, the five municipalities awarded the nomination, Jundiaí, Louveira, Itupeva, Jarinu and Itatiba, bring together between 700 and 800 grape producers.

Agrishow brings together solutions for all types of crops, harvests, machines and property sizes, in addition to being recognized as the stage for the launch of the main trends and innovations for agribusiness. In 2023, the fair brought together more than 800 exhibiting brands and more than 195 thousand qualified visitors in 530,000 m² of area, presenting the latest in this rural technology show.

Rural producer in Jundiaí, José Luiz Negrini values ​​Jundiaí’s participation in the fair. “Anything that adds value to the farmer is always good. The product needs to be seen to always be remembered,” he said.
