Who killed Bruno in ‘Elas por Elas’? Remake of the soap opera changed the killer

The mystery surrounding the death of Bruno (Luan Argollo) in “Elas por Elas” will finally come to an end in the remake of the Globo soap opera. By reconstructing the day of her brother’s death, Natália (Mariana Santos) will recover the memories blocked by the trauma and identify who is responsible for the crime.

To the protagonists of the plot They met at the Aranha family’s mountain house, where detective Mário Fofoca (Lázaro Ramos) coordinated a trip to the past. Helena (Isabel Teixeira) surprises her friends by showing up at the scene and becomes the main suspect in her ex’s murder.

Traumatized by her brother’s death, Mariana Santos’ character will remember an ugly fight with Bruno, but will know that she was not responsible. A flashback scene will show that, at the time, she had fainted after hitting her head on a rock, but wakes up in time to see Sérgio (Marcos Caruso) pushing Bruno.

Helena’s father even tries to claim that he was not in the region and, therefore, could not have committed the crime. Despite this, Adriana reveals the secret she kept for so many years: the two had a relationship for a single night, right after the crime and Isis (Rayssa Bratillieri) was born from the case.

Who killed Bruno in the original version

In the original version of “Elas por Elas”, the character now called Bruno was Zé Roberto (André Diamand). The death occurred during his and Natália’s (Joana Fomm) childhood. With the help of psychiatrist Décio (Marco Nanini), she remembers that she pushed her brother off a waterfall during an argument.

The plot created by Cassiano Gabus Mendes (1927-1993) in 1982 has received a reinterpretation shown since 2023. It is already in the final stretch, the soap opera will be replaced by “No Rancho Fundo”, which premieres on April 15th.
