Former BBB producer asks Globo for millionaire compensation; understand

A former Globo employee, who worked at the house for 23 years, took legal action against the broadcaster. She asks for compensation of almost R$ 1.5 million.

Former producer of Big Brother Brasil (BBB) ​​and É de Casa, she claims that was fired without justification. Furthermore, it requires Globo to pay almost two decades of overtime and bonusessince it was hired by CLT.

According to information from Daniel Nascimento’s column in O Dia, the former employee reports in the process that she was hired in October 2000 to hold the position of Production assistantwith a starting salary of R$1,171.46, “performing the functions of executive supervisor of line production during the prescribed period”.

According to the action, as of February 2019, the employee moved to the role of producer“but without any change in responsibilities”.

The professional also informs that, even though she was hired for a six-hour shift and a 36-hour weekly module, your overtime was not paid correctly and/or compensated.

Professional expects conviction from Globo

Given the scenario, the former BBB producer asks that Globo be ordered to pay the differences in overtime worked from the sixth daily and the 36th weekly hour from Monday to Saturday, plus an additional 70 %, as provided for in the Collective Labor Agreements (attached), in the form of the justification, in the amount of R$ 1,438,859.68.
