It’s no secret that Xbox fans seem more perplexed about Tango Gameworks regarding the studio’s closure this week, with the community not taking the news very well when it broke on Tuesday. Xbox fans aren’t the only ones questioning why the studio has closed its doors – the team’s game project manager is wondering what would be enough to keep Tango Gameworks open.

When accessing Twitter a few hours ago, Kazuaki Egashira presented a series of awards the team won for Hi-Fi RUSHadding the simple caption – “It is not enough?”:

Of course, Hi-Fi RUSH was a huge critical success for Microsoft, Bethesda, and Tango – especially compared to other big Xbox releases of late. Clearly, this reception wasn’t enough to keep Tango’s doors open, despite Xbox recently saying the game met Microsoft’s “all key metrics and expectations.”

Looking at this, we can’t help but think that Tango Gameworks deserved better not only for their work on Hi-Fi RUSH, but also the Ghostwire: Tokyo and The Evil Within series. The team can certainly be proud of what they have achieved and have a plethora of awards to show for it.
