Phil Spencer’s base in Fallout 76 destroyed by nuclear warhead after Xbox closes studios

-

In recent days, Xbox has been involved in new controversies, after announcing the closure of studios responsible for Redfall and the acclaimed Hi-Fi Rush, one of the best-rated games of the new generation of Microsoft consoles. The news took everyone by surprise when Matt Booty, head of the brand, announced the sudden closure.

The news was obviously not well received by the gaming community, much less by Xbox fans. Everyone showed outrage in different ways, including one Fallout 76 player who dropped a nuclear bomb on the camp by Phil Spencer as a form of protest.

A large red area on the map, with Phil Spencer’s camp at its center, can be seen on the game map to show that it is a dangerous location due to the radiation that will affect characters who approach it. See below the tweet from the player who reported the “unusual protest” against the Xbox head.

Almost an hour after the report, the player responsible for the attack declared himself “guilty” in the comments of the post and showed in a video what Spencer’s camp is like after the nuclear explosion:

A few days ago, the Xbox head was a hit among Fallout 76 players by joining the gameplay. Several people on the same server as Spencer teamed up with him to face creatures and even a World Boss together.

Yesterday, even with studio closures and public outrage, Matt Booty said in a meeting that the Xbox needs more smaller games to win prestige and prizes. A somewhat controversial statement, as they closed the studio that created exactly what Booty says he needs.

Aaron Greenberg, Sarah Bond and other Xbox bosses have yet to comment, not even Phil Spencer, either on the studio’s closure or on its recently exploded base. Which means the brand’s fans are in the dark, as all that’s left is rumors and speculation for the future.
