In a recent interview with Dina Bass at the Bloomberg Technology Summit, Sarah Bond – president of Xbox – revealed some curious information about the company’s future.
At one point in the interview, Game Pass, Xbox’s popular subscription service, was discussed and how popular it is with gamers. Bond reveals that the quality and breadth of Game Pass games has been increasing and admits that more “great games” will be added later this year.
“And the last piece is Game Pass. We know our core users love Game Pass, Game Pass is a game subscription service, and you get a full portfolio of games, but most importantly you get every single one of games we created on the first day on Game Pass.”, says the president.
“And the quality and breadth of those games has only increased over time. And you’ll see more really big games coming to Game Pass later this year,” he adds.
Later, Sarah Bond is asked if these new games would come from the Activision portfolio, to which she responds “Across the range, you’ll see some really incredible things.”
