WhatsApp announced this Thursday (9) that it will launch another update that makes the appearance of the application simpler for navigation. Furthermore, An even darker dark mode was also released for users.

According to Meta, more than 35 different colors were considered when updating the palette. The goal is to find tones that reduce users’ eye strain in low-light situations. Thus, deeper hues were used.

It was in this part that the “darker dark mode” came in. Quite popular among users, the function will be available in a tone that makes reading messages even easier.

Another new feature in WhatsApp is the native bottom navigation bar on Android. Already known on cell phones with the iOS operating system, it is possible to find messenger features faster, displaying conversations, statuses, calls, communities and settings.

For those who have an Apple cell phone, there is also a new way to send photos and videos. Previously, you had to open a full-screen menu. Now, it will be possible to share media with an expandable window, which allows you to view media, polls and documents, as well as other tools.

Finally, Meta announced a redesign of the WhatsApp icon. It will have a more rounded and outlined style. The update will also deliver a new default background.
