What changes in the new Whatsapp update?
- The messaging app recognized that the time has come for design to change and evolve.
- To achieve this, a new color palette was added with more than 35 options.
- WhatsApp received deeper tones for “reduce eye strain in low light situations“.
- The app’s dark mode, a popular option used by default by many users, is now also darker to make messages easier to read.
- The default background in chats has also been changed in the latest version.
For iOS, WhatsApp will make it easier to send photos and files with a new simplified layout for attachments. Instead of a full-screen menu, users will now see icons that allow them to see options more clearly when uploading images, documents and more.
Among other new features for the iPhone version of the app are access keys. The functionality, which will be available to everyone in the coming weeks, offers an additional layer of protection against possible scams and unauthorized access.
